The Dr Seuss books, written by Theodor Seuss Geisel, are some of the most imaginative, creative, wonderful and wacky books ever published. They are also excellent for children learning to read, as they help develop phonics awareness and recycle key vocabulary throughout each story.
Many children enjoy listening to books read aloud, and when this is combined with reading the words on the page it is a very enjoyable and effective approach to developing reading and literacy.
The videos below include some of Dr Seuss’ best know kids stories including, the cat in the hat, the cat in the hat comes back, wacky Wednesday, one fish two fish red fish blue fish, there’s a wocket in my pocket and green eggs and ham.
