On the evening of Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Grand Ballroom at the Conrad Bangkok was illuminated in silver and gold as Singapore International School of Bangkok (SISB) celebrated a landmark milestone: its 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee Gala Dinner.

SISB Schools

Attended by educators, alumni, parents, school executives, and distinguished dignitaries—including Guest of Honour H.E. Ms. Catherine Wong Siow Ping, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Thailand—the gala was not just a commemoration of longevity, but a tribute to a vision that transformed international education in Thailand.

Educational Pioneers

SISB’s journey began in 2001, founded by a passionate group of Singaporean and Thai parents led by Chief Executive Officer Kelvin Koh. Frustrated by the lack of schools offering the globally lauded Singapore curriculum in Bangkok, they set out to establish a boutique campus with just a handful of students and teachers.

From those modest beginnings, SISB achieved historic milestones:

  • The Singapore Curriculum in Thailand: SISB became the first international school in the country to adopt the Singapore primary curriculum, famed worldwide for its rigor in mathematics and science.
  • Trilingual Immersion: Recognizing early on the shifts in global economics, SISB built a unique trilingual foundation, training students to become fluent across English, Mandarin, and Thai. kaohoon international
  • Public Listing Pioneer: In late 2018, SISB made history by becoming the very first education company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET: SISB), securing resources to rapidly expand world-class campus facilities nationwide.

Today, the SISB network spans 6 state-of-the-art campuses across key economic hubs—Pracha Uthit, Suvarnabhumi, Thonburi, Chiangmai, Nonthaburi, and Rayong—with a community of over 4,500 students representing more than 30 nationalities guided by hundreds of international and local educators. Academically, graduates regularly place in top global universities across the US, UK, Singapore, and Asia through Cambridge IGCSE, A-Levels, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

The Gala Evening: A Showcase of Talent and Vision

While the 25-year history set the stage, the evening of October 29 was designed around the theme “Evolve, Enable, and Extend”—a three-pillar vision charting the school’s next quarter-century:

  • Evolve: Integrating ethical artificial intelligence and critical inquiry directly into the modern classroom. kaohoon international
  • Enable: Turning learning into social impact, highlighting SISB’s decade-long English and Chinese Social Responsibility Project, which has trained more than 1,400 underprivileged local students across 14 educational institutions.
  • Extend: Expanding access to quality Singapore-style education to wider communities through regional campuses and new educational ventures.

Voices Across Three Tongues

The gala’s cultural centerpiece was a student keynote address delivered seamlessly in English, Chinese, and Thai. The address captured the authentic ethos of SISB: students who move fluidly between languages and cultural frameworks without missing a beat.

Artistic Flourish & A Star Collaboration

Throughout the evening, student musicians and rhythmic gymnastics teams took to the stage, showcasing the creative balance SISB emphasizes alongside academic rigor. The pinnacle performance saw SISB student performers collaborate live on stage with renowned vocal artist Kit Kittinan (“Kit The Voice”), delivering an emotional, show-stopping musical tribute that brought the ballroom to a standing ovation.

Looking Ahead to the Next 25 Years

In her address, Ambassador Catherine Wong commended SISB as a shining model of adapting Singapore’s educational excellence to Thailand’s local and global context.

As the celebratory toasts concluded, the focus was firmly on the future. With new campuses underway and continuous investments in holistic education, SISB’s Silver Jubilee was not a finish line, but the launchpad for another 25 years of empowering future scholars and global leaders.
