Eight Years at Varee

After eight wonderful year at Varee School, I regretfully announce that I will be leaving at the end of December to begin work at a new school in January.

I feel privileged to have been involved in the development of the English Programme at this school and I would like to thank all the amazing students, great teachers and supportive parents that have made my time here so memorable.

M2 Students Volunteer at Orphanage for Handicap Students

On Sunday 5th November, students and teachers from Mathayom 2 visited a local orphanage to donate supplies and participate in activities with handicap students.

This project was initiated by the M2EP students who, inspired by HM King Bhumibol’s teachings,  had wanted to participate in some meaningful community work. The students not only arranged the collection and distribution of supplies to the orphans, but also spent the morning teaching English to the orphans using student-centered games and activities.

We’re all very proud of the great work the students, and teachers, did, and we would like to thank all the parents that donated supplies, as well as the orphanage, for allowing us to visit and organise this activity.

HM King Bhumibol

The teachers and students have been observing a minute’s silence during assembly each morning out of respect for HM King Bhumibol of Thailand who passed away on Thursday 13th October, 2016.

During the first 30 days of mourning the teachers will be wearing white and black and festive activities will be postponed.

Science Week Activities

This week the students have been engaged in a range of lunch time activities to stimulate their love of Science.

As you can see the students had a lot of fun getting involved !
