Following the success of the Varee School Football Festival in 2010 and 2012, Varee Chiangmai School will be holding a special Brazil World Cup Football Festival in June and July this year.
For this event each classes is allocated a World Cup team and they will take part in a football tournament representing their team. Each class is required to prepare a boy’s team and a girl’s team to participate in the football tournament.
Earlier this week the students drew lots to discover which World Cup team they will be representing. Here are the results
Prathom Grade 1 to Grade 6
The aim of this activity is to promote team spirit and healthy living – all students are encouraged to take part.
The primary school football tournament will take place on Friday 20th June and the secondary school football tournament will take place on Friday 4th July.
On the days of the tournament students are encouraged to wear football kits representing their World Cup team. Friends and family are also invited to join this activity.
