The ‘Day of Pride’ is Varee Chiang Mai School’s annual open day.
Activities will be running all day. There will be academic and sporting competitions with other schools taking place in the morning. In the afternoon the students will be displaying their academic work and running stalls selling crafts and refreshments.
The main events will begin on the outdoor stage at 3.30pm in the afternoon and they will include student performances, competitions and prize giving. This year’s special guest is the British Honorary Consul, Mr. Ben Svasti Thomson.
The event is open to all that are interested in learning more about the academic progammes available at Varee Chiang Mai School which include an International Programme following the English National Curriculum, an English Programme and a Thai Programme.

8.00 am Opening Ceremony
9.00 am EP Singing Competition (final round)
10.00 am EP Story Telling Competition
11.00 am Spelling Bee Competition
13.30 pm EP Prize Giving Ceremony
14.00 pm Students’ Presentation
16.00 pm Prize Giving in the audtiorium
16.00 pm Student Performances on the Main Stage begin
17.00 pm Ceremony and Celebrations for His Majesty the King’s 84th Birthday
18.00 pm Fireworks and Lantern Launching
The event is due to end at around 18.30pm.
