VCS Annual Performance Update
November 3rd, 2010
The schedule for the VCS Annual Performance has now been released.
The EP Blue classes will be performing in the morning. Students are required to be at Kad Suan Kaew Theatre by 9.30am. Their show will start at 10.20am.
The EP Red classes will be performing in the afternoon. Students are required to be at Kad Suan Kaew Theatre by 1pm. Their show will start at 2.10 pm.

Performance rehearsals & Halloween
October 30th, 2010
It’s only the second week back but we are already extremely busy with studies and activities.
This past week the EP students had their first complete rehearsal and it went well. With just 2 weeks till the big day we will all be busy with more rehearsals and preparations next week. Please remember to get a ticket for the show from your homeroom teacher. The performance will be at the Kad Suan Kaew Theatre on Saturday 13th November 2010.
This week also saw the primary students celebrating Halloween. There were ghosts, vampires, witches, superheroes and even a few princesses all playing games, having fun and eating candy!

The First Week of Term …
October 24th, 2010
The students have all made a productive start to the new term and have settled in quickly to the school routine.
With the VCS Annual Performance less than a month away the students are using their spare time preparing for this event. On Thursday afternoon this week we will have our first full rehearsal so fingers crossed it all goes well!

The New Term Begins !

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are once again at the beginning of a new term. The students all appear fully refreshed and ready to recommence their studies. This term there are a number of special events and activities which the parents are encouraged to join.

Parent Teacher Meeting
October 14th, 2010
This Sunday all parents are invited to collect their children’s term 1 scores from school.
Parents of primary school students are asked to come to school between 8.30am and midday.
Parents of secondary school students are asked to come to school between 1pm and 4pm.
This is a good opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers and discuss their progress.

Last Week of Term
September 25th, 2010
The students have all worked very hard over the last week in their tests. They can now have a well deserved break this weekend.
During next week, the final week of term, the students will be involved in project work, practical assesments and sporting competitions.
On Thrusday the students will take part in sports at school and on Friday the sports will take place at the 700 Year Stadium. This will be the last day of term and it is always a very enjoyable event. We hope to see as many parents there on the day as possible.
On Sunday 17th October there will be a Parent Teacher Meeting. At this meeting parents can discuss their child’s progress with their child’s teachers and they can also get their End-of-Term Reports.
Then on Monday 18th October the new term starts.

End-of-Term Spelling Tests
September 21st, 2010
Tomorrow is the big day for the end of term spelling tests. All the classes in English Programme from EP1 up to M3EP will be tested. EP1 have 50 words and all the other classes have 100 words.
Of course it is important that the students fully understand the meaning of these words and are able to pronounce them correctly as well as being able to spell them.

Revision Weekend
September 17th, 2010
The student have all been told to bring home their text books and work books this weekend in preparation for next week’s tests.
The students have already been given revision guidelines and they should follow these when preparing for their tests.
As well as revising for their tests it is also important that the students stay healthy and have a good night’s sleep before the tests start on Monday.
