There are a host of elephant camps, elephant shows and elephant sanctuaries in Northern Thailand, however, not all of these are ‘elephant-friendly’ and some even have a reputation for maltreating these magnificent animals.
For educators looking to take students on field trips to learn about elephants and how they are taken care of properly, these two organisations are recommended.
