A Lonely Ghost

A ghost named Hugh, all white and thin,
Felt very sad, a lonely spin.
He floated through the night, alone,
A ghostly figure, a mournful moan.

He watched the kids, with candy bright,
Their laughter filled the chilly night.
He wished he could join in the fun,
But being a ghost, it just couldn’t be done

So Hugh the ghost, he floated on,
A lonely soul, until the dawn.
Perhaps next year, he’d find a way,
To join the fun, on Halloween day.

Onyx the Black Cat

A cat named Onyx, sleek and black,
A Halloween star, no looking back.
With emerald eyes that sparkled bright,
He prowled the night with pure delight.

A velvet cape, a feathered hat,
He was a sight, you couldn’t beat that.
He wandered streets, both near and far,
A feline phantom, a midnight star.

He crept through shadows, silent and sly,
A trickster’s spirit, soaring high.
He scared the kids, with a ghostly meow,
But made them laugh, with a playful bow.

So when you see a cat, so dark and deep,
Remember Onyx, and let him creep.
A Halloween hero, a spooky sight,
A midnight magic, pure delight.

The Noisy Zombie

There once was a zombie named Hugh,
Whose moans were quite loud and quite blue.
He’d groan and he’d wail, a frightful display,
And scare all the people right off their way.

He’d rattle his chains and he’d stomp on the ground,
A terrible racket, a dreadful sound.
The neighbors complained, they couldn’t sleep,
With Hugh’s zombie noises so noisy and deep.

So Hugh tried to be quiet, a zombie’s best bet,
But his moans and his groans, he just couldn’t forget.
So he moved to a graveyard, a spooky abode,
Where his noises could echo, and no one would know.

Happy Halloween!!
